Nominations are now open for the 2022 Active Lives in Erewash Awards to honour those who are dedicated to helping people maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.

Erewash Borough Council is excited to announce the return of the Active Lives Awards – a way to celebrate those in the community who go above and beyond to improve the lives of other people through physical activity.

For example, there may be someone who helped remove barriers to make physical activity accessible, or you may know someone who has been successful in a sporting achievement after overcoming adversity.

Councillor Paul Maginnis, Lead Member for Health and Wellbeing at Erewash Borough Council, says:
“The Active Lives Awards are a wonderful way to give recognition to those in our community who go out of their way to improve lives through physical activity. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is more important than ever, so it is fantastic that we have people in Erewash who help others with their wellbeing and fitness.”
