Tickets for the extremely popular paranormal investigation and ghost hunt at Erewash Museum on Saturday 27 October are now on sale.

The spooky events at the museum are always well received and tickets get snapped up very quickly – so residents with a fascination for all things ‘other-worldly’ are urged to buy their tickets before they vanish.

This is an over 18s event and a serious late-night investigation, taking place from 7pm - 12.30am, with previous event visitors claiming to have experienced mysterious happenings.

Professional ghost hunters will attempt to uncover the dark secrets of the museum – which is housed in Dalby House at Ilkeston, a late Georgian building with Victorian extensions – and those taking part will be given professional ghost-hunting equipment to record any supernatural activity in private areas of the museum building.

Councillor Mike Wallis, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Culture and Leisure, says:

“These ghost-hunting events are extremely popular, but remember, it’s not for the faint-hearted. This is a serious paranormal investigation, you never know what may happen, and most people who have taken part in past events have claimed to have experienced some form of ‘ghostly’ and unexplained activity.”

Tickets are £28, which includes refreshments. No alcohol is allowed at the event. Contact the museum to book your tickets on 0115 907 1141.
