We want to give you a warm welcome to our museum. 

The museum has a volunteer-run café selling hot and cold snacks and drinks, open from 11am-4pm (hours may vary, please contact the museum for details).

Autumnal Events at Erewash Museum

Saturday 12th October 1pm-3pm

Create your own wreath using locally sourced flowers and foraged foliage. A beautiful decoration to take home. Suitable for adults. £30 per person with refreshments provided.

Saturday 19th October 1pm-3pm

Create a pumpkin filled flower arrangement using dried foliage and fresh blooms. A beautiful decoration to take home. Suitable for adults. £30 per person with refreshments provided.

Half Term Autumn Activities

Wednesday 30th October 11am-4pm

Birds of Prey experience

BB Falconry will be bringing their iconic birds of prey to Erewash Museum. Visitors can listen to talks, meet the birds, and pose for photos.

Suitable for all ages. £2 per person to attend talk - booking required.

There will also be a chance to meet the birds as they are walked through the site.

Harvest Harmonies

Enjoy a blend of music, gardening, and crafting all tied to the season. Hum Strum and Say will be performing and playing songs inspired by autumn. Take part in craft sessions and plant a bulb to take home ready for spring.

We are open until 5pm to be part of Ilkeston Trick-or-Treat Trail. Erewash Museum is one of the locations on the community-led initiative, 3:30pm-5pm.
