Erewash has one recycling centre. This is the Ilkeston Household Waste Recycling Centre based at Manners Avenue, Manners Industrial Estate, Ilkeston, DE7 8EF.
Before you dispose of any items
Consider re-using items around the home.
- Bottles, boxes and jars can be used for storage.
- Shopping bags can be used more than once.
- Perhaps a charity shop could use your unwanted items.
If you really can't reuse your items then you can:
Use our kerb side recycling systems:
- Dry Recyclable Collections: Green Bags and Blue Bins.
- Garden Waste Collection: Brown Bins.
Or take your materials to one of the following recycling sites: Stanton Road car park, Ilkeston; The Village car park, West Hallam; Village Hall car park, Little Eaton; Asda car park, Long Eaton; West Park leisure centre car park, Long Eaton; Co-op car park, Sawley; Memorial Hall, Breadsall.
