Elephant Rooms – offering tai chi, yoga and pilates, wellbeing groups and courses to improve mental and physical health.
Ilkeston
Good Boost at Victoria Park Leisure Centre - an individualised programme in the swimming pool for people with muscle or joint pain).
Ilkeston U3A – learning, creative, and leisure opportunities for mainly older people in the local area.
Keep fit at Ilkeston United Reformed Church. Gentle exercise classes e.g. chair yoga and Tai Chi, exercise for the heart and reliability fitness.
Cycle for Health - regain cycling confidence, gently improve fitness and enjoy a free, sociable 10 mile ride. All abilities welcome.
Midlands Nordic Walking - workshops to learn the basics of Nordic walking and regular sessions offered in Ilkeston and surrounding areas.

Accessible Walks
All of the walks below are FREE.
Accessible walk & talk - 1:30-3:30pm every 3rd Saturday of the month. Meet outside West Park Leisure Centre, Wilsthorpe Road, Long Eaton NG10 4AA. Accessible walk on flat paths led by trained walk leaders. Length of walk will be 1-2 miles. Disable parking, toilets and café. Sofa2Stroll+ - Calling all nature-lovers in Derbyshire with PoTs and/or hEDS. Take that first step with us and reconnect with nature... because every stroll is a step toward better wellbeing! The walk is ideal for those with other chronic conditions such as; Long Covid, ME and Fibromyalgia. Every 3rd Thursday of the month at 10:30am. Location: Elvaston Country Castle Park. Sofa2Stroll+ - Accessible walks in nature aimed at helping those with chronic health conditions get out for a stroll. Walks are at a gentle easy going pace on flat terrain. Every third Tuesday each month from 10:30am to 12:30pm, which includes some time for a drink and chat at a local café. Ilkeston Track Walk - Your three gentle rules for an accessible walk: Pace yourself, pause when needed, stay present in the moment. We meet every Friday 10-11:30am at Rutland Sports Park, Ilkeston. Open to anyone, no need to book, simply turn up.
