Get involved with Erewash Museum's summer exhibition!

Erewash Museum is pleased to announce an upcoming summer exhibition all about Toys of the Past. Situated in Ilkeston town centre, the Museum has a varied collection of toys and games spanning over one hundred years of childhood. Erewash Museum is reaching out to the local community to share their own toys and memories.

The Museum is seeking favourite old toys and games to loan to the Museum for the exhibition. If you have any toys or games that you would like to be considered for this exhibition, please fill out the form provided below and then submit a photograph of the item to the Museum for consideration. Email: museum@erewash.gov.uk

Terms and Conditions: 

• Erewash Museum has a standard loan form that will be used. The lender will receive a copy of the loan form.
• Items on loan will be covered under the museum’s insurance up to an agreed amount.
• Please note that objects accepted must be available to loan to the Museum from May 2025. Items will be returned to lender once the exhibition has ended.
• The museum will only be able to accept a limited number of items, and the museum reserves the right to decline an item due to suitability, condition, size or duplication.
• Any items brought into the Museum before receiving a request or decision from the Museum will not be accepted.
