This scheme is operated by Erewash Borough Council and is part funded by the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund. 

The Grant is open to new and existing businesses occupying ground floor retail units in the town centres of Ilkeston and Long Eaton, local centres of Borrowash and Sandiacre, and villages of Draycott, Breaston, Little Eaton, and West Hallam. New “Growth Zones have also been introduced as eligible areas, including College St Long Eaton, parts of New Sawley, Cotmanhay, and Kirk Hallam. Eligible applicants can apply for a grant of: 

  • Up to £2,000 towards the cost of shopfront signage.

 

It would be useful to have the following documents to hand, as there will be an opportunity to upload them during your application:

  • A copy of the lease agreement for your premises.
  • An image or the current shopfront.
  • A render of how the shopfront will look after the installation of your new signage.
  • A quotation for the cost of your signage.
