Missed Bin Collections

Reporting a missed bin  

Please do not report that your bin has been missed until after 3pm on your collection day. The crew may still be out working. 

If there is a reason why the crew have not emptied bins, they record this on their electronic tablets.  

Whole street

If your whole street has been missed it is probably due to access issues and there is no need to let us know. The crew will return as soon as they can to see if they can gain access. Please leave your bin out until it has been emptied. 

How to report

If your bin has been missed, this must be reported within one working day of your collection day. We review all missed bin reports by checking the vehicle camera recordings. 

Report a Missed Bin 

Please leave your bin out until it has been emptied. We will return as soon as we can. 

We won't return to empty your bin before your next collection day if:

• Your bin was not out for collection when we visited your street
• Your bin has already been emptied by crew
• The wrong bin was presented
• The bin contained items or materials we don't accept and has been tagged by our crew
• The bin was too heavy to be emptied
• The contents of your bin were stuck or frozen inside and didn't drop out when we tipped the bin
