Bulky and Electrical Collections

Find out how to book a chargeable bulky waste collection

Bulky and electrical collections

We offer a chargeable service to collect and dispose of large household bulky and electrical/metal items from domestic households only. We do not offer this service for businesses.

Donate furniture and items

If your items are in good condition and working, they could be reused. Why not consider donating to a charity shop or a local furniture project (who may collect for free).

How to book

You can book and pay for the collection of bulky and electrical items at the same time, but the collections will be on different days.

  • Bulky items (non-electrical) are collected on a Wednesday
  • Bulky items (containing foam, such as chairs and sofas) are collected on a Tuesday
  • Electrical and metal items are collected in a separate vehicle on a Wednesday

You will be given a choice of collections days to choose from.

Book a bulky waste or electrical/metals items collection.

Items for collection should be presented at the front of the property, as close to the pavement as possible, before 6.30am on the day of collection.

Refunds will not be given if we attend a property and the item(s) are not presented or have been removed by a third party. Presented items that we cannot take will be left and no refund given.
