Local organisations have an additional four weeks to apply for grants of up to £500 through the council’s Fast Funding Grants scheme.

The new deadline is Tuesday 28 February, giving residents a month of additional time to apply. The scheme is available for organisations or groups in the borough to apply for funding to help projects that will enhance the Erewash community. Grants are awarded subject to eligibility and the extent to which the community will benefit from the proposed project.

Councillor Paul Maginnis, Lead Member for Health and Wellbeing at Erewash Borough Council, says:

“The Fast Funding scheme has allowed dozens of local groups to make their community projects a reality. It is fantastic news that more local organisations have the opportunity to apply for funding with the deadline extended. I encourage all organisations with project ideas that will benefit the community to apply to the scheme.”

The deadline is subject to available funding. If all funding is awarded the scheme may close earlier than Tuesday 28 February.
