Erewash Museum has got this half term all wrapped up with a whole week of geeky ‘Mini Comic-con’ activities for everyone to enjoy. From Monday 25 October to Saturday 30 October, 11am - 3pm, the museum will be offering a different fun activity every day of the week to capture the imagination and make the holidays full of fun.

From ancient quests to super heroes, disco moves to spooky trails and adventures in a galaxy far, far away, there will be something to tempt everyone this October.

The full line up is as follows:

Monday 25 October - Board Game Bonanza – Join Shadeglass Games for all kinds of card and board game fun. Pop up stalls, dungeons and dragons table, a miniature figure war games display and collectable card games fun. Craft activity: make your own board game. Suggested donation £1.

Tuesday 26 October - Adventure Day - Can you get the ring to Mordor by taking part in an interactive quest? Follow the clues from costumed actors, solve the riddles and become a hero of legend! Suitable for all ages. £1.50. Free crafts.

Wednesday 27 October- Comic Book Day - Ilkeston Library joins the half term fun with a one day pop-up comic books and graphic novels fun day. Have a go at becoming your own comic book illustrator with artist Kerry Dilks. Free.

Thursday 28 October - Super Hero Day - Join DJ Hazza for the super hero party of the year! Go along as your favourite super hero and dance the day away. Booking strongly advised. £2.50 per child. Free for under 2s and adults.
Project D donuts will also be there, so go early to get your sweet treats.

Friday 29 October - Witchcraft and Wizardry Day - Celebrate all things spooky and visit as a favourite character! Practice making potions at magic potion classes (free, timed classes, booking advised), make a wand, follow a spooky trail, and see the spooky owls of Woodies Wings (free, all day). Have a picture taken in the Magic Mirror, an interactive technological experience where visitors are cleverly featured in their own magical world (£2 per photo)

Saturday 30 October - Star Wars and Sci-fi Day- the East Midlands Garrison are returning to the museum! See their amazing costumes, meet the Storm Troopers and wonder at the incredible Lego Star Wars displays. Make your own Lego Spacecraft for a competition, and enjoy a free craft activity.
