A cash boost of almost £20,000 to help Erewash Community Transport (ECT) over the next three years looks set to be given the go-ahead by Erewash Borough Council.

At a meeting of the Council’s Executive on Tuesday 2 April, a proposal to support the service looks set to be approved.

Erewash Community Transport is an independent registered charity and voluntary group which has been established for almost 35 years. It offers affordable and accessible transport to eligible community groups throughout the borough whose patrons are unable to use public transport due to age, infirmity or disability.
