• A temporary One Way Order and temporary 30 mph speed limit to facilitate carriageway widening will be in place at Bostocks Lane in Sandiacre from 1 June until 21 August. This will prohibit vehicles travelling in a northerly direction only, it will therefore affect all traffic coming out of Long Eaton/Breaston etc heading towards junction 25. The suggested diversion/alternative route for northbound traffic only is from Bostocks Lane (from point of closure) to B6002 Longmoor Road/Longmoor Lane, Sandiacre, then B5010 Derby Road, Sandiacre, then to Bostocks Lane, Sandiacre/Risley. It does not affect traffic travelling from Junction 25 heading towards Long Eaton.   • The footpath between Ladywood Road and Ridgeway Drive, Kirk Hallam will be closed from 18 May to 8 June 2020. This is while a new water main is installed.The suggested alternative route is Sunningdale Drive, Wyndale Drive, Godfrey Drive, A6096 Ladywood Road and vice-versa.

  • Temporary Public Bridleway Closure (Number 8 part): Parish of Dale Abbey, July 2013-June 2020. This is between the junction with Dale Abbey Bridleway number 9 at Verger's Farm and the junction with Dale Abbey Footpath number 46 to all users; also closed is Public Bridleway number 8 (part), Parish of Dale Abbey from Public Footpath number 46 in a northerly direction for 25 metres to horse riders and cyclists
    Alternative route: East/west route for pedestrians only is shown on the site plan on the road works page. Walkers wishing to access Hermit's Wood can do so via Dale Abbey Footpath number 46, permissive footpaths to Dale Abbey Bridleway number 8 - Dale Abbey Footpath number 43 and vice versa.

  • Weight Restriction: An emergency and temporary 7.5T Weight Restriction Order will be in place on Ford Lane, Derby from Tuesday 18 Dececember 2018 to Tuesday 28 July 2020. This is to facilitate the introduction of a 7.5T structural weight restriction.
