Erewash Museum is gearing up to host one of its most popular events of the year when up to 100 motorbikes, including classic Triumphs and Harley-Davidsons, go on display in the gardens on Saturday 12 May.
The collection of motorcycles is always a big hit with bike enthusiasts and families, with many people riding their pride and joy to the event.
Councillor Mike Wallis, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Culture and Leisure, says:
“This event has been attracting visitors to Erewash from far and wide for the last decade. Last year around 400 people attended and we are hopeful that there will be more people than ever attending this year. It is always interesting to see the huge variety of bikes on display.”
The free event, which has been held for the last ten years, will take place between 12noon and 4pm. The Museum will be open as usual from 10am – 4pm and refreshments will be available by the Friends of Erewash Museum in the Old Stables Tea Room.
