Explanation

Housing Requirement – This is the number of houses the government thinks should be built in each council area. The council wants to know if this is the right number of houses for Erewash.

Strategic Growth Options - These are the different places where houses could be built. The council wants to know if there are other places where housing could be built.

Sustainability Appraisal - This works out which are the best places to build houses. The council want to know if this assessment is right.

Preferred Options – These are the places the council thinks are best to build houses. The council wants to know if these are the right places.
Consultation ends on Monday 20th April 2020. Any representations received after this date will not be considered.
