There are lots of outdoor parks and open spaces in Erewash that are available for hire for all sorts of outdoor events from small fetes and dog shows to charity events and big country shows. 
Whether you are planning a small event for 25 people or a major event for 1000s, we have a venue for you.

Your eventLicences are not needed for small events with less than 499 people.
A Temporary Event Notice (TENS) is required for events likely to attract more than 500 people. 

The licence is required at least 10 working days before an event.  You can find out all about the Temporary Event licence and application form.

Organising a Picnic in the Park?

Picnic timeIf you are planning a picnic on one of our parks within the borough we don't need notification as long as there are less than 50 people attending and it is not advertised to the public (Call us if it is more).  

A few rules do apply: There is no cooking on site including BBQ’s; no charity collections, advertising, distribution of printed materials; no playing of music, amplified sound, or any form of regulated entertainment; and no infrastructure including tents, marquees, inflatables etc.  Please make sure all litter is taken away.
