The Erewash Economic Development Strategy 2013-18 was adopted by Erewash Borough Council in January 2013 and sets out the Council's aspirations for the borough's economy over the five year period.

The Strategy is focused around four Strategic Priorities:

Town Centres And Markets Driving the regeneration of Erewash's town centres and developing strong and thriving markets
Supporting Development And Business Growth Promoting Erewash as a place entrepreneurship is supported and where businesses can grow
Local People Into Work And Training Encouraging our businesses and residents to improve their skills and maximising opportunities to get local people into jobs and training
Connectivity And Transport Promoting sustainable growth through accessible and efficient transport networks

For more information see our current Erewash Economic Development Strategy

As we are coming to the end of that period, the Economic Development team will be looking to develop a new strategy for 2019-24 to ensure as a borough we continue the growth of our strong local economy.
