Citizens Advice Bureau

Since 2005 Erewash Borough Council has funded Citizens Advice generalist advice service to enable delivery of free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities.

You can find your local Citizens Advice Bureau at: Castledine House, Heanor Road, Ilkeston, DE7 8DY.

The Bureau helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing information and advice and by influencing policymakers. Citizens Advice Bureau use evidence of their clients' problems to campaign for improvements in laws and services that affect everyone.

CAB provide drop-in and appointment services from its Ilkeston centre , and also offer outreach appointment sessions in most GP surgeries and Children’s Centres across Erewash.
