The Council 

Arts Erewash

Arts Erewash is an established group of professional, voluntary, amateur and community artists, arts organisations and schools who either live or work in Erewash. Members meet bi-monthly to network, share information and collectively plan and deliver projects.

Arts Erewash is a not for profit, constituted group run by local volunteers and supported administratively by the Arts Development team.

Arts Erewash's current project, rEvive, is an arts and regeneration programme using an empty shop at 59 Market Place, Long Eaton, NG10 1JQ.

Aims

  • To raise the profile of and provide advocacy for all art forms in Erewash, including literature, visual and performing arts.

  • Provide a collective voice for key cultural issues.

  • Act as a catalyst for the development of all arts and creative activity in Erewash.

  • Enable and support sharing and networking.

  • Strengthen the infrastructure of professional, amateur and not for profit arts organisations and individuals.

  • Raise funds as appropriate for projects of interest.
