Car Parks and parking

The council is a member of the Parking and Traffic Regulations Outside London (PATROL) Adjudication Joint Committee. The Joint Committee publishes an Annual Statement of Accounts which is subject to External Audit and the arrangements and timetable for 2009/10 can be found at:

Car Parking

Disabled badge holders are exempt from charges.

Standard charges

8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday inclusive - excluding Bank Holidays

Present tariff:

  • 60p (up to 1 hour)
  • £1.00 (up to 2 hours)
  • £1.50 (2 to 3 hours)
  • £3.00 (over 3 hours)

Long Eaton

Claye Street, Gibb Street, Lawrence Street (Red Bays only)

Ilkeston

East Street, Baker Street, Chapel Street, Market Place, Station Road, Toll Bar House (Sat only), Town Hall, Wilton Place

Short stay car parks - maximum three hour stay (no return within two hours)

Present tariff:

  • 60p (up to 1 hour)
  • £1.00 (up to 2 hours)
  • £1.50 (up to 3 hours)

Long Eaton

Beaconsfield Street, Lower Town Hall, Lawrence Street

Ilkeston

Albion Centre, Albion Centre Extension, Club Row, Queen Street, South Street

Long Eaton Station

Present tariff:

  • Up to 30 minutes - free in designated bays only
  • Up to 2 hours - 80p
  • Up to 18 hours - £2.00
  • Up to 48 hours - £4.50

Cheap long stay car parks

Present tariff:

  • 80p (up to 2 hours)
  • £1.00 (over 2 hours)

Long Eaton

Long Eaton Station only

Season tickets are available from our cashiers at Ilkeston or Long Eaton town hall. In addition season tickets may be applied for by calling 0845 9072244
