Assisted collection (all bins)
Erewash Borough Council offers an additional service to people who experience difficulty in using our refuse/recycling services themselves.
If you fall into any of the following categories you may qualify for an assisted collection (where your bin is collected and returned to your storage point for you
- 70 years of age or older and live alone
- Long term disabilities or health issues which prevent you from putting your own bin or bags out
- All of the residents within your house fall into category 1 or 2
