There is a wide range of events held right across the Borough all year round. Perhaps most famous of all is the Ilkeston Charter Fair held during the 3rd week in October. This is one of the oldest street fairs in Europe and occupies Ilkeston Market Place and the surrounding roads.
We also organise a variety of street entertainment, musical concerts, competitions, exhibitions, family events, and Christmas light switch ons. A list of current events can be found in the page menu on the left.
