West Park Leisure Centre Facilities

We have a variety of facilities:

Main sports hall (32.5m x 17.2m x 10m)
The hall is used for a variety of sports including badminton, football, netball, indoor cricket, table tennis, aerobics, martial art clubs and a wide variety of children's activities.

Marquee Magic
This is a special lining which can be hoisted up into the roof of the main sports hall, transforming it into a grand marquee. This comes complete with crystal chandeliers and up lighters.

This fabulous indoor marquee creates a wonderful setting for that special occasion. It has the capacity of 400/450 people and has its own licensed bar and will suit a wide range of events from weddings to parties, exhibitions to cabaret evenings.

Three function rooms
Suitable for any special occasion which will accommodate up to 100 guests. These rooms are also available to hire for children's parties, meetings, martial art clubs and dancing.

Two swimming pools
A 25m pool and teaching pool plus two exciting flumes.

Café
Overlooks the pool areas, supplying snacks and drinks.

Sauna and steam room
With access through to the pool areas.

Spin studio
Hosts a wide variety of spin bike classes to suit all abilities.

Licensed bar
With viewing area to main hall.

Vending area
With various vending machines catering for drinks and confectionery.

Disabled facilities
Consist of disabled toilet, access to ground floor areas, main sports hall and fitness suite

Lift
Providing access to the bar area and function suites.

Fitness suite
Air conditioned, fully equipped with 27 cardiovascular stations, 16 static weight stations, free weight area and floor exercise area.

Male and female changing areas
With showers are available at all times, both on the wet side and the dry side of the centre.
