West Park Leisure Centre Activity Guide

A wide variety of activities take place at West Park Leisure Centre, including: swimming, badminton, netball, football, squash, aerobics, martial arts, and much more.

You can now download our Activity Guide which is packed full of information, events and activities at all the borough's four leisure centres and museum.

Please note that the centre is closed on all bank holidays.

Monday Morning 
Body Sculpture, 10.20 to 11am
A toning class to shape and stretch all the muscle groups

Fitness Suite, 9am to 12.30pm (10.30am Inductions)
New customer inductions are required before using the gym. These can be booked at the gym reception.

Sauna/Steam, 9am - 10am Mixed, 10am to 12.30pm Women only
A place to relax before returning to the hustle and bustle of life

Swimming, 12 to 12.30pm
During casual swim time

Trampolining, 10am to 12.15pm
A coached session for all ability levels.

Team Games, 11 to 11.30am
A fun session for all where the only rule is to have fun!

Court Hire, 9am to 12pm
Available for 30 minute bookings. Bookings are taken at reception for anything including badminton, table tennis, and volley ball.

Tuesday 

Chair-based Exercise 11am to 12pm. 

Fitness Suite, 1 to 3.30pm
New customer inductions are required before using the gym. These can be booked at the gym reception.

Sauna/Steam, 1 to 3pm
A place to relax before turning to the hustle & bustle of life. This is a mixed session.

Swimming, 1 to 3pm
During casual time

Court Hire, 1 to 3pm
Available for 30 minute bookings. Bookings are taken at reception for anything including badminton, table tennis and volley ball.

Thursday  
Body Sculpture, 10.50 to 11.30am

Techno Gym keys can also be purchased for £10.00 at reception

Pay and Play
The main sports hall is available to hire for: badminton, table tennis, 5-a-side football and a variety of other sports.  Please contact the centre for bookings or further information.

Booking Passport
Entitles you to pre-book facilities seven days in advance, from 10am.

Ladies Fit and Fun

The Ladies Fit and Fun sessions are available on Monday and Thursday mornings, and Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. All of the activities listed in one of the morning or afternoon sessions are included in one price.

Swimming Lessons

Learn to swim safely and confidently with our friendly team of qualified instructors.  Swimming lessons are for children of five months through to adults of all ages. Please contact us directly for more information.
