Rutland Sports Park

Rutland Sports Park is our new leisure complex. It hosts a variety of exciting facilities and is a truly multi sport environment.

Facilities include:

an indoor tennis centre
nine hole mature golf course
six lane athletics track
two jump pits
a full size Astroturf pitch (which can be used for football or hockey)
two smaller pitches
a bowling green
cricket nets and cricket pitch
the Rutland Wellness Centre (43 station gym).

Health and Leisure Memberships

Our Health & Leisure All inclusive memberships include Gym-Swim-Sauna-Workouts at ALL Erewash leisure centres.

Memberships cost from £28.70 a month for an individual, committed membership or save even more money and join as a couple (spouse, best mate, whoever you like) for just £46.00 a month.

Sport Relief Mile

This year's Sport Relief Mile takes place at Rutland Sports Park, Ilkeston on Sunday 25th March. To take part you'll need to register online before the day by clicking this link: (www.sainburyssportreliefmile.com (opens in a new window))
Unfortunately we cannot take any entries on the day. The event starts at 9:00am and finishes at 12:00pm.

There’s something for everyone at the Sport Relief Mile – from tiny toddlers to top-notch sports pros. You just need to choose your distance!
1 mile Perfect if you’re looking for some serious fundraising fun with all the family. 3 miles Just the ticket to step it up, get your pulse racing and take on your friends and family. 6 miles If you’re seriously sporty, get hot and sweaty for close on 10k and raise a stack of cash. New exciting Strollercise class

No creche required! Come along to Rutland Sports Park's new outdoor exercise class for mums, dads, grandparents... Every Thursday 9.30 - 10.30am and just £1.50 per session. Enjoy an exercise session with your baby in their pram or buggy, we go for lovely walks with exercises using features along the way such as park benches and trees (we're not climbing them so don't worry). Don't forget to dress for the weather - however if it's really bad we'll be using the tennis centre.

Your leisure card entitles you to savings on activities at our four leisure centres; discounts on selected events such as the annual bonfire and firework display at West Park on 5th November ; and other great benefits.

Rutland Sports Park Open Day - great success

Over 400 visitors enjoyed a great family day of FREE taster sessions on Saturday 12 June including: Aerobics and Circuit Training, Kickboxing, Tennis coaching, Fun tots, Basketball shoot out, Junior football tournament, Rower challenge, Bike challenge, Golf competition and more. Thanks to all the clubs that supported the event and put on some magnificent displays!

National Benchmarking Service (NBS) Satisfaction Survey

Every year we ask you, our customers, face to face, over a nine day period, how they think we are doing. The questionnaire asks about how satisfied you are with our service and how well you consider we are performing. You can download our latest report here. Rutland Sports Park is conveniently located between the cities of Nottingham and Derby. It can be easily accessed from the A52 or M1 Junction 25 (Long Eaton) or 26 (Nuthall). There is ample free parking at Rutland Sports Park, including disabled parking bays.
