Approaching Erewash from the M1 (south)

Exit at Junction 25 - Take the second exit left on to Bostock’s Lane heading towards Sandiacre. At the first set of traffic lights turn right on to Derby Road (B5010) and follow the road into Sandiacre town centre.

At the traffic lights just before the canal bridge, turn left on to Town Street and follow the road for approximately 3 miles, through Stanton Gate along Low’s Lane, Ilkeston Road and Quarry Hill Road to a mini roundabout opposite the Bull’s Head public house.

Turn right on to Lower Stanton Road (A6096) and follow the road to the next major traffic island (known as White Lion Square), and turn left on to Derby Road (A609). At the next set of traffic lights turn right at the fire station on to the B6007, Oakwell Drive. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right on to West End Drive.

Go straight on at the next junction, and follow the road to the end where the entrance to Pimlico car park is on the left. This is a pay and display car park and the Council Offices are opposite.

Approaching Erewash from the M1 (north)

Exit at Junction 25 – take the slip road to join the island and keep in the right hand lane. At the fifth exit, Bostock’s Lane, follow the instructions above.

Approaching from Nottingham on the A52 from Nottingham University Island
From this point, follow the A52 Derby Road towards Bramcote and Derby. Continue over the first roundabout until you reach the next major junction and keep in the right hand lane. Take the third exit on to the A6007 Ilkeston Road and then the A609 following the signs for Ilkeston.

At the next major roundabout, take the second exit on to Derby Road continuing on the A609. At the next set of traffic lights turn right at the fire station on to the B6007, Oakwell Drive. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right on to West End Drive. Go straight on at the next junction, and follow the road to the end where Pimlico car park is situated. This is a pay and display and the Council Offices are opposite the car park.
