MACCA is our programme of children's activities, taking place during the Derbyshire school holidays. There is something for everyone with activities ranging from Erewash extreme skatepark and climbing wall to model making and trampolining! Please see below for further information

What?

Ideal for an hour or two of fun or a full action-packed day, MACCA offers a great range of activities at your local leisure centres, museum and elsewhere. The programme is available to all young people aged 5-14 years throughout the Derbyshire school holidays.

Run by our dedicated MACCA staff. there are plenty of fun activities to keep you occupied so there’s no excuse to get bored over the school holidays.

When?

Take a look at the new MACCA programme taking place across the borough from Monday 15  - 20 February 2010Click HERE for your copy or alternatively, please pick up a copy from any of our four leisure centres, Long Eaton or Ilkeston Town Hall, Erewash Museum and other various places.

Where?

Erewash Museum (opens in a new window)
The museum is open during the school holidays, Monday to Saturday from 10am till 4pm. The Museum is a must for all young people. What's more, all their MACCA activities are FREE!

West Park Leisure Centre (opens in a new window) WPLC runs a full programme of varied activities throughout the school holidays. It's the only centre that offers catering facilities (must be booked in advance) and the opportunity for your kids to spend the whole day under supervision. That's from 9.30am till 6p

Rutland Sports Park (opens in a new window)
A full programme dedicated to maximum entertainment and fun.

Sandiacre Friesland Sports Centre (opens in a new window) Sandiacre Friesland Sports Centre runs an exciting and varied programme throughout the school holidays.

Victoria Park Leisure Centre (opens in a new window)
Victoria Park Leisure Centre will be running activities for children during all of the summer holidays. Fun and games in the water. No need to book, just turn up.

Tuesday and Thursday: 10am - 12noon

Firfield Primary School 
For children aged 5-7, Firfield Primary School runs MACCA every day from 9.15am – 3.15pm.
Activities include adventure games, treasure hunts, creative craft, puzzle time and much more. Children are supervised, including at lunch time (A packed lunch is essential).

2. Read the Terms and Conditionsand complete the Application Form - available from this website; any of our four leisure centres or museum or call us on 0845 907 2244 and we will send you one
3. Take the Booking Form and Payment to the appropriate centre
