The land and property team works in partnership with other stakeholders to design and implement public real schemes throughout the borough. This area of service requires the team to pull together full design teams to prepare detailed schemes for public real works.
Such schemes require partnership working with the Conservation and Design Team, Development Control, Planning Policy, Groundwork Derby and Derbyshire, Derbyshire County Council Highways as well as the individual funding partners.
The team are usually responsible for the tendering process and management of any contracts associated with any public realm works undertaken.
