Approaching Erewash from the southbound M1

Exit at Junction 26 - Take the third exit on to the A610 signposted Matlock. Proceed approximately 3 miles and take the exit marked Ilkeston/IKEA.

Take the first exit at the roundabout and follow the road to the next roundabout, keep in the offside lane and take the second exit towards Ilkeston.

At the next roundabout take the second exit and proceed over the narrow railway bridge and straight on toward the major junction at the end of Station Road.

Take the first exit on to Chalons Way and remain in the offside lane until you reach the next major traffic island.

Take the fourth exit on to Derby Road (A609). At the next set of traffic lights turn right at the fire station on to the B6007, Oakwell Drive. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right on to West End Drive.

Go straight on at the next junction, and follow the road to the end where the entrance to Pimlico car park is on the left. This is a pay and display car park and the Council Offices are opposite.

Approaching Erewash from the northbound M1

Exit at Junction 26 – take the first exit for the A610 to Matlock and follow the instructions above. 

By bus

Erewash is accessible by bus from most of the local major cities including Nottingham and Derby.

The railway station is situated on Tamworth Road, Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire, NG10 3GS
and is approximately 2.2 km (1.5 miles) from the council offices.
