Different ways to make a complaint

You can complain or comment by:

  • phone - for numbers, or minicom 0115 9316056
  • email
  • in person - call in at one of our main offices (see council contacts for details)
  • in writing - download and print a copy of our 'Comments Compliments and Complaints…tell us what you think – Submission Form '  and return it to any of the council’s offices
  • by eform - complete and send the online form Comments Compliments and Complaints…making your point (opens in a new window). This will automatically forward your comment, compliment or complaint to us
  • or send us a letter for details.
All information we receive will be logged and you will receive confirmation and be allocated a unique reference number before we formally reply. The Three-Stage Complaints Procedure provides details of the process.
