The Erewash Novice Triathlon is based at West Park Leisure Centre, Wilsthorpe Road, Long Eaton. NG10 4AA.

Swim (400m) & Transition Area

The swimming discipline will be held in the 6 lane heated swimming pool inside West Park Leisure Centre. Swimmers will exit the pool area and straight into the transition area to prepare for the bike discipline. If any participants are physically disabled the transition area may be moved to accommodate their specific requirements. If you are a disabled triathlete, please ensure you complete the statement of declaration form and posted with your entry.

Cycle Course (10 miles)

The course is mainly flat and the surface is well maintained with 2 long straights.

Please note: All participants must obey all road signs and signals from the Police and Race Marshalls during this discipline. Failure to do so could result in disqualification from the race.

Run Route (5Km)

Once riders have racked their bike they will progress to the final discipline the run. This is held in West Park, a 100 acre open area. Runners will complete 2 laps of the course set before continuing to the finish area adjacent to West Park Leisure Centre.

One Mile Family Fun Run Course

The one mile family fun run course is designed to enable everyone to take part on the day. It is a fun event and we hope everyone has a good time taking part. Regardless of whether you decide to wear 'optional' fancy dress the one mile course is within West Park and not on public roads.
