Adults other than Teachers

Adults Other Than Teachers (AOTTs) are coaches, sports development officers and volunteers who assist in delivering physical education and out-of-school-hours sports activities.

All AOTTs work under the supervision of a teacher and are never left on their own with a group. By working in partnership with PEAUK, BAALPE and sportscoachUK, a complete AOTTs support package has been developed, which incorporates an in-school induction pack and a Physical Education Awareness Course.

Contact: Active Schools Helpline - 0800 169 2299.
