Traffic Islands & Flower Beds

Erewash Borough Council offers the opportunity for local businesses and organisations to sponsor the traffic islands and flower beds within the Borough.

The beautiful flower bedding around the Borough has become an important feature within Erewash, creating an attractive, colourful and desirable environment to both live, work and visit.

The sponsorship of our town's traffic islands and flowerbeds contribute to both Long Eaton in Bloom and Ilkeston in Bloom - which aim to make our local environment cleaner and greener.

Hanging Baskets

Each year, between the months of June - October the Borough Council places floral hanging baskets throughout the towns and parishes of Erewash.

These hanging baskets also present the opportunity for local businesses and organisations to become involved with sponsorship within the Borough and the regeneration of Erewash.

It is through the support and sponsorship received by local businesses that Erewash Borough Council improves the sense of community spirit and pride within its towns and parishes.
