Erewash Housing Needs Study
Fordhams Research have carried out a Housing Needs Study for Erewash, which is a comprehensive study of housing needs across all tenures and client groups in the borough.
The main purpose of the study is to provide a comprehensive assessment of housing needs in the borough, which will inform our Housing Strategy and Local Development Framework.
It will help the Council and its Partners to understand, strategically plan and deliver the housing needs of the people of Erewash.
The project consists of a sample survey of occupiers, and an analysis of existing data.

Nottingham Core Housing Market Assessment
Bob Line & Associates have carried out a Housing Market Assessment for the Nottingham Core Area – which includes Erewash, Nottingham City, Broxtowe, Rushcliffe, Gedling and the Hucknall area of Ashfield.
This consists of an analysis of housing markets within and between the local authority areas as well as across the Nottingham Core area as a whole.
The purpose of the assessment is to establish a robust evidential base for the development of a long-term strategic view of housing need and demand. This will help to inform spatial planning and housing strategies in the area.

Erewash Vulnerable People Housing Assessment
This document is a collation of information on the housing and housing-related support needs of vulnerable people in Erewash.
Information has been compiled over the last 3 years, which has been used to inform strategic planning including the Erewash Housing Strategy, Erewash Homelessness Strategy, Derbyshire Supporting People Strategy, the development of supported housing projects and bids for funding.
Partners from many agencies have helped us to compile this information, including probation, social services, Registered Social landlords, support providers, housing providers, young people’s services, health services.
The document will be updated as new information becomes available and will continue to be used to inform and provide evidence for future strategic planning and development of services to meet vulnerable people’s needs.
