Erewash Floating Support Service

Erewash Floating Support Service

The Erewash Floating Support Service is a service that has been set up with Supporting People funding to provide tenancy sustainment support for a range of vulnerable groups.  The service is currently being provided by Stonham Housing.

This service began operation on 3rd January 2006 to provide 100 support hours per week in total by 2.85 full time equivalent Project Workers across the Erewash Borough.

Support hours broken down across client groups:

  • 60 hours per week equating to 15 units of support at 4hrs each for:
    • Young people
    • Teenage parents
    • Homeless families
  • 40 hours per week equating to 5 units of support at 8hrs per week for:
    • Substance misuse (Drug & Alcohol)

Type of support:

  • Across all forms of tenure.
  • Tenancy sustainment support.
  • Claiming benefits. Budgeting and bill paying. Drug and alcohol issues.
  • Neighbour dispute. Advocacy. Accessing leisure, training, education and social activities. And much more…
