Where to Recycle

green recycling logoBefore you recycle have you considered reusing your items around the home? Bottles, boxes and jars can be used for storage. Shopping bags can be used more than once! Perhaps a charity shop could use your unwanted furniture, SALCARE furniture project in Heanor on Tel; 01773 764 562 may want your items.

If you really cant reuse your items then you can:

Civic Amenity Site

This site is operated by Derbyshire County Council. The site in Erewash is on the Manners Industrial Estate in Ilkeston. The site is open from 8.30am to 6.00pm seven days a week except for the 25th & 26th December and the 1st January when all Civic Sites across Derbyshire are closed all day. For further information please telephone 0115 944 0105.

Additional green bags are available from either Ilkeston or Long Eaton Town Halls, or by calling 0845 907 2244. Alternatively additional recyclables can be presented for collection in carrier bags.
