Scenes from the borough of Erewash

  ...driving for success

Retail Needs Study

On the 6th June 2007 the Erewash Borough Retail Needs Assessment was adopted by the Borough Council.

The Study assesses the current retail catchment area, the value of expenditure for and the future retail capacity for Borrowash, Ilkeston, Long Eaton and Sandiacre up to 2026. In addition the Study provides a health check for Breaston, Cotmanhay Road, Draycott, Little Eaton, Kirk Hallam, Sawley and West Hallam.

The Retail Needs Study will be used as a material consideration when determining planning applications for retail development and will provide a robust evidence base for policies contained within Local Development Framework.

Please contact Dave Brown by telephone on 0845 907 2244 Ext 3152 or by email at dave.brown@erewash.gov.uk if you wish to discuss the content of the study.
