The Draft Greenprint for Biodiversity in Erewash was produced by the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust and Erewash Borough Council.
The document translates both the UK and the Lowland Derbyshire Biodiversity Action Plan to a local level, sets out which habitats and species are important in the Borough and provides a framework to help implement the Lowland Derbyshire Biodiversity Action Plan.
A public consultation exercise will run for six weeks from Monday 22 September until Monday 3 November 2008.
