A vital part of performance management is the processes of monitoring and reviewing performance information. This will ensure that areas of underperformance are highlighted and corrective actions can be taken, best practice is identified and communicated. We have recently developed our review process to ensure that the right people are getting the right information to make changes. Monthly performance reports are submitted to our Corporate Management Team.
The Council’s Executive and Service Effectiveness Scrutiny Committee receive quarterly performance reports, providing performance updates on all of our performance indicators. Furthermore, the Executive and Committee also receive monthly exception reports to assist in driving through action and improvements.
