How to Pay Your Council Tax

Bills are issued at the start of each financial year.

You can pay your Council Tax in 10 monthly instalments. The easiest method of payment is by Direct Debit and a form is available to apply. Or you can contact the office with your bank details and it can be set-up whilst you are on the phone.

We also accept payment by Standing Order, but you would need to make arrangements with your own bank to set up this method of payment.

You can also pay by cash or cheque at the payment offices in Ilkeston and Long Eaton, or by cheque, made payable to "EBC", through the post to Finance Division, PO Box 2, Ilkeston, Derbyshire DE7 5SE. Facilities are available to pay by debit or credit card on our dedicated freephone Cardline 0800 783 9020.

We also make available a plastic payment card which you can use to pay free of charge at any Post Office.
