Erewash Community Safety Partnership

Erewash Community Safety Partnership is made up of public and private agencies each playing their part to reduce crime and disorder in Erewash, in partnership with local communities. The Partners include Erewash Borough Council, Derbyshire Police, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, Erewash Primary Care Trust, Derbyshire County Council, Criminal Justice and Probation services, the Chamber of Trade, the Youth Offending Team and the Drug and Alcohol Action Team.

In 2005 Erewash Community Safety Partnership set a three year strategy to respond to Erewash’s crime and disorder challenges.

The Erewash Community Safety Strategy 2005-08 has the following key objectives:

• Anti-Social Behaviour
• Vehicle Crime
• Prolific and Other Priority Offenders
• Young People as victims and offenders
• Drugs and Alcohol
• Hate related incidents.
