Licensing Policy

The Statement of Licensing Policy which is required under the provisions of Section 5 of the Licensing Act 2003 was formally adopted by Erewash Borough Council on 16 December 2004. Every three years the Council is required to review the Statement of Licensing Policy, laying out the basis on which decisions will be made. This policy must reflect the local balance between the commercial interests of the licensed trade and the communities they serve and affect. The policy has now been reviewed, therefore please find below the final version of the policy for 2008/2010.
